New Video Series Provides Insights into the First Vision

For this year’s Come, Follow Me course of personal and church study focusing on the Doctrine and Covenants and Church History, Book of Mormon Central is pleased to offer a new series of short videos discussing the history and significance of Joseph Smith’s First Vision. The goal of these videos is to help the viewer better understand and appreciate what the First Vision is, why it’s important, why it deserves careful study, and also to highlight just some of the scholarly tools and resources available that help raise our appreciation for this world-changing event.

These new videos draw primarily from the First Vision Insights published through Pearl of Great Price Central. Additional resources on the First Vision (including a bibliography and eBook) are also available from Pearl of Great Price Central as supplements to the video series.
